Natural Resource Development & Community Expectations
The main objective of this course is to gain a better understanding of meeting community expectations for development in the context of natural resource projects. Topics include principles of sustainable development, understanding each other - differences in culture, values, and ideas, sources of misunderstanding and conflict, incorporating communities in the decision making process, and the changing legal framework.
