Mine Engineering and Mineral Economics in a Carbon-Constrained Economy

Legislative and social pressures on carbon-based fuels producers will likely rise in the near future.  This research program will focus on efforts to anticipate the impacts of a carbon-constrained economy, both in terms of mineral economics and on mine operations.  The objective is to model the impact as a means of giving decision makers ample time to plan and enact mitigating actions or take advantage of opportunities.
